Is a pickup date guaranteed?
Not usually. Because the industry is route-based, it may take some extra time to get to your car, especially if you live in the middle of nowhere, away from major freeways. What most car haulers will do is give you a window for pickup. So, if you want your car picked up on May 9th, the hauling company will probably give you a window between May 8th and 11th. This also gives the trucking companies a break because things happen and they can fall behind schedule (although this is uncommon). Be wary of companies that guarantee a pickup date, because you could be left holding the bag.

Car Haul Broker

An car haul broker is a company that organizes and arranges hauling for cars. Typically, an car haul broker handles all the money as well as sets up haul of a car between the customer and the carrier that is chosen. Car haul brokers find out the exact addresses that the car is coming from and going to, as well as handle any transactions that need to take place. They keep in contact with the carrier during the hauling process and keep the customer informed of where the car is and when it will be arriving. Car haul brokers are an incredibly important part of the car hauling industry; they keep the prices fair and prevent price-gouging by carriers because there are so many car haul brokers in the industry. Competition is fierce, which keeps prices as low as they can be. If you’re looking to haul your car, check out some car haul brokers – they’ll help you with anything you need.
